Hello there, there's good news and bad news for this update.
The bad news is that my earlier calculation for translation progress is wrong. I just found out that the conversations between characters are in a special folder and the amount of this conversations are many. Thankfully I have already fully translated the others. Click below to know the approximate number
Coupled with the fact that I was busy last October, the progress right now is barely 60%.
Good news is that I have more free time this November and hopefully will be able to finish the translation before December.
Also if you at the author's blog, he will update the game with at least 2 new characters at later date in version 1.3, which I will translate after releasing the english translated of the current version.

ReplyDeleteYou know, no one in Japan is going to download this. You don't have it translated so you cannot hope people speaking English is able to purchase it, not to mention you don't have it on the english dlsite, which there are child abuse in your games so you cannot possibly publish it in English speak countries like America and thus you cannot sue the translator due to your product not avalible in the said market. At the end of the day, this translation will not affect your game's sales, and some pirates might actually end up paying for the game.

ReplyDeleteNow as a fan, get in fiver, translations as cheap as 5 dollars per 500 words, publish in DLsite english. You should get your money back plus profit, literally no excuse. I'm a fan and I would like to avoid piracy if I can, it should be obvious that if we like your content and want more we should support the creators, so please, release in english, the most spoken language in the internet (psss, more profit).

Is it only a patch or a whole translated game?
If you are going to distribute a whole translated game, I really want you to stop it. But, if you are going to distribute only a patch or .csv files set (characters' talking lines), I'll permit it.

That. Publishing in the English DLsite allows us to buy it really easy, its all in plain English and US currency. I'll still buy it in japan's DLsite if isn't in the English one but it will require lots of google translate or maybe Rand (the translator) can make a visual guide to help us to purchase.
